Press Release:

October 12, 2004 - Sussex, WI

With yet another top 10 (9th) place finish in the Expert Heavyweight Supersport class of Championship Cup Series (CCS) - Midwest - Roadracing, Jeff Kufalk finishes out the season with an overall 5th place title in the Heavyweight Supersport class.

October 10th was the final round of CCS Midwest Roadracing at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI, and the efforts of Jeff Kufalk from CBR600RR.com Racing were out in full force on the #42 Lake Country Powersports CBR600RR.

Despite 2 red-flag restarts (one for an injured rider, one for oil on the racing surface), Jeff managed to gain ground from his starting position to ultimately lead the second group of riders and bring home a 9th place finish. This finish moved Jeff to an overall 5th place standing within the class and region. Although extremely pleased with the accomplishment, missing 4th place by a mere 6 points (2 places) did have a slight sting to it.

In other overall class regional titles, Jeff finished as follows:
Heavyweight Superbike - 8th place
Middleweight Supersport - 10th place

With over 200 riders throughout the country battling for these points and classes, 3 top 10 titles are quite an accomplishment, and represent the tireless effort, and significant time and money dedicated to the 2004 racing season.

Jeff looks forward to the 2005 season where he will again race CCS Midwest on the new 2005 Honda CBR600RR from Lake Country Powersports of Waukesha, WI.
