Your timing couldn't be better...  I have exactly that...

It's a rear that has about 100 miles on it.  I used it to finish dialing in the rear shock on my RR, and it's a bit shagged on the right but still in decent condition.  I was debating on whether to hold onto it for next year to practice with or to sell it...

$70 to your door...  (so that's like $50 for the tire and then UPS's insane shipping charges).

And I've got 1 rear and 2 front 208 GP's as well as a set of "gently used" Dunlop soft slicks that could go.
I'm not a real asshole, but I do play one on the internet...

I'll have a set for sale after this weekend, but right now all I have is a rear 208GPA, and a set of slicks.

When I said "gently used", I was being sarcastic... sorry. And since you're looking for a ZR, what the hell would you use a set of slicks for ?

I generally sell my used tires for about $50 apiece at the track.

cause shit, if i could grab a slightly used pair of slicks that i could afford, i'd run them....but ive got a front zr....so might as well just buy the rear and run them....not like i want to....but my funds prevent me from buying a new set of gp's

be ready for possible head shake when switching to performance tires. depending on setup and weight and all.

I don't think you'll have any headshake issues provided you stay with the DOT tire of the same size.

Slicks are often times a different size and profile which can require geometry changes.

Last year I couldn't figure out why I loved slicks so much on my F4 until we measured them.  Once I adjusted the geometry of the bike based on the tire choice, the thing was a dream on slicks or DOTs.

I have my RR now set up for DOTs and it rides like absolute CRAP on slicks...

So here's my count for tires.  They're going on ebay tonight.

Pair of slicks - front very good, rear 'okay'.  Good for a practice day, school or to just try out slicks.  $50 +shipping

Pair of DOTs - Good condition, right side of rear is down near the wear bar, but would give a few thousand street miles, or a couple track days/school/amateur race.  $80 +shipping

Single rear DOT - Okay condition.  Right side is shagged from dialing in suspension.  Tire has only about 100 miles on it.  $50 +shipping

Tires are all Dunlops.  DOTs are D208GP-a rear (Great Brittain) and the fronts are 208gp (american tire).  All in regular/soft compound, not super-soft...

Hey jeff....would any of that fit my F4? My rear is down to the threads (I wonder how that happened????) and I want to do some cruising yet.

I'd even meet up with you at Lake Country if you had some rubber I could use. Don't know if I can drive too far on the little rubber I have now, so I'll probably take it to a closer dealer for mounting though.
