Front fairing stay
« on: September 07, 2003, 11:14:47 AM »
Anyone have a front fairing stay?  I bent mine and now if I turn my handle bars all the way to the left, I can't straighten out because it gets jammed by the upper fairing.

If you pick up a new one, let me know.  I'll buy your bent one off of you (or gladly accept it as a donation  8))

Sorry guys, someone decided to 'donate' my bike without my permission last weekend.   >:(
It was stolen from Mall of American parking ramp.  Infront of all those security cameras, and still not much of a lead.

Hey Bz you had insurance right? Well if so now you don't have to worry about a bent fairing stay!! And I'm sure that there was more damage that went along with the bent fairing stay, which you now won't have to worry about. And if you like the colors on the 04 600RR better than you can get one of them. It sucks to have something get stolen or messed up but there can be a bright side.

Yeah I do have full insurance coverage.  But I donno, I just feel bad about the whole thing.
I do like the new blue RR.  You guys think the 04 will cost more than the 03 eventhough they're the same bikes?

I know you feel bad about having your bike stolen, hell I feel bad about it even. But I always try and help people out by finding the bright side of things. The 04's are gonna have the same MSRP as the 3's. If anything you would be able to get them cheaper because the demand isn't as high. You could probably wait until the winter time and get a great deal on a yellow 03!! From what the dealers I know are saying they have too many yellow ones left. Also the 04's will be in the dealership by January from what I've heard.
