1. Get a better driving record/less tickets/insurance approved driving courses
2. Get older
3. Get married
4. Buy a house
Aside from that, basics I tell people I know when shopping for insurance:
Always tell them your ride is for pleasure only, not a daily commuter. That right there will increase your cost out the gate. (thusly, if you get in a wreck to/from work (or school) if you commute, don't say "i was on my way to or from work"(or school).... a simple, I was out riding and this asshole hit me works. Less is more in that situation)
Underestimate the amount of miles you ride in a year when they ask.
