Help Please! Bike dying at 5000rpm

Hi all , got a 05 cbr600rr , just bought it and drives fine except feels almost like the bike is cutting out or getting no fuel or something at around 5000rpm so i have to tap off and open up again. Then if i rev i can hold the throttle wide open but it will get to 5000rpm and just stay there almost like its in limiter or something??

I had a similar problem but at 8k rpm on a 2003 rr. I found it was the fuel line from the tank to the rails was getting kinked.
