There are other forums out there with much more activity going on, the old guard here is around from time to time to check in, but it's mostly new riders with technical problems who join up to ask questions, then never log in again. Such is the internet. I'm still around spouting off over-worded how-to posts, and welcoming new joins sometimes.  ;D

Lol, I'm actually about to start a thread about any suggestions people have about how and where to store my bike in the US while I'm living in Australia.

Not for a while, but yes. I'm moving to the East coast of Australia for a year, leaving at the end of 2016

Spiders under the toilet seat the size of your head, snakes, sharks and hot girls. Sounds like it's going to be really really bad, or really really good.  ???

LMAO! I think it will be mostly awesome! I'm looking forward to living somewhere, for a year, that has real seasons, and is all new and unfamiliar. I think it will be a great experience on the whole, and a lesson in international flexibility. It's not TOO different from the states, Aussies speak MOSTLY the same English, lol, and yes, the women there certainly seem like the dominant climate there...HOT, haha.

It won't be much of a switch for you but FYI Oz seasons are backwards. What you're normally used to calling summer, is in fact going to be winter. I've always wanted to travel to Australia because they have a different night sky. A whole hemisphere of constellations I have never seen. Yes aside from bikes, I'm an astronomy and physics buff. Would love the opportunity to take camping gear out to a park and bring a telescope. Fucking spiders. :-X

I was a member on the vtx cafe and it was always full. People were really good about helping out. One thing that is really nice is when someone post the results of their mechanical issues. I like this forum and the peeps on it . I as well would like to see a little more activity.

My laptop died a few months ago and I can't stand trying to use the forum on my phone, so I've been MIA as well. I have the little Honda to play with now, and I'm not even on a forum specific to that thing.
