Unedited video of my Saturday at Buttonwillow...
« on: July 08, 2014, 08:41:07 PM »
So I decided to upload a session for the time being, till I get around to editing a video for the whole day. Feel free to skip around it, not much different lap to lap. I actually slower than I was last time I was there, and have even worse body position issues than I did 4 years ago, thanks to street riding and me not taking the time to learn...Here's to making progress at the track this summer!!

Bloody hell. Fast.
2006 Honda CBR600RR Movistar edition. Blue double bubble, single seat conversion, sprinkling of sexually attractive carbon fibre, annoying Datatool alarm, useless rider.

That's the great thing about the track, it's such a great place to really open the bike up and push it hard! By the way, I really liked you annotated video of that run on your bike, super cool to get all that info along with the scenery!

I actually haven't detailed the bike since I got back, and that was over a week ago! Crazy, no? I wiped it down a couple times that day, but cleaning is something I actually do very slowly.  ;D

Do you have a back protector?  I ask as your suit looks like it's way to loose and a back (and chest protector) would fill those spaces nicely.

I have an A*s Tech Race, yes. The suit billows a little still, but it fits me great in the chest. I'm just small  :P ???

Yeah, track bodywork....I actually lowsided it last weekend at the same track, running a different configuration. Oops. The bodywork I run at the track is OEM, but all scuffed up here and there, so oh well. I'm going to carbon/kevlar reinforce the backside of the panels that got messed up in the lowside, and maybe paint the scuffed bits if I have time. Next trackday is sept 1st, the day before my birthday.
