Why anyone would do that to a motorcycle is completely beyond me. They should have an ethics and IQ test before purchases. I'm disgusted :-X Hopefully you take better care of her.

Its a 2008. Think its done 2000 miles.  Just been sat outside for 3 years? Convinced the guy to sell it too me.

got it for 500. Great bargain. I noe keep it in the garage and just stripping it down cleaning and sorting.

needs new chain, battery, drained fuel tank already, firk seals. Then I think itll be gine fingers crossed

Well at least the price was right. Id strip it down literally as far as your mechanical ability allows and just scrub everything. Fly Nihon over to your house, buy him some beers, and watch him work his OCD magic. :thumb:

Thats the fuel tank back on for the last time after forgetting to put the seal in after draining.

coolant level looks very low and still need to replace the chain and battery.

all the cob webs and moss have gone now though. think its going to be a cracking bike !

She looks a million times better. Nice work. Hang onto that bike, at least around here, the blue is wicked rare.

Santa brought me a new battery, chain and some other bits.

Got this bike running now. Is there an easy way to upload a video from a phone?

Would like to show it running for the first time in 2-3years.

These are strong well built bikes. It had no hesitation in starting
