when i bought my bike the guy told me it was -1+2 and a 520 chain. It has a pc and a healer. How can i tell if is -1+2 and 520 chain?

The chain pitch number, 520, may be stamped on some or all of the links in the chain. Also, stock teeth count will be 16/42, front and rear respectively. That site I linked to already has all the stock info on your bike, and is easy to configure to test out new gearing, ie, it will tell you your approx. top speed in each gear, depending on the sprockets you install.
To see what is on your bike, just do what Cosmo said and count the number of teeth of each sprocket already on the bike. And watch your fingers.
