Looking for a 600rr
« on: February 10, 2010, 03:58:08 PM »
Hey everyone,

I know this is my first post and hope I'm not stepping on any toes but would anyone be selling a 600rr for around $3000? I've seen some good deals out there for some 04's for about $3500 but most are sold or too far away. If not thanks anyway.

Here is the bike I've found, it's an 05'. I need to find the stock mirrors and the rear bar but I rode it Saturday and was sold. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Here's a couple pics.

is that a wheelie bar? i don't see that as a particulary good sign... ??? engine lubrication suffers when in a wheelie. it may have quite some engine wear, if wheelies were a common thing, and that bar suggests exactly that.

Is that something that can be checked out? I took it for a test ride and it felt great. I'm taking that wheelie bar off.

hell if i know how you can check for engine wear without opening it. dunno if it can be done either. there are much more knowledgeable guys here then me.
then again, perhaps the guy was really carefull, even if stunting, and took care of the bike. it's a leap of faith.
