If I'm not mistaken, my housemate's S2000 ap2 has electric power steering.  He was kind of freaked out when he was told too, haha.  I've never driven a car myself, but if it's anything like a steering damper for a bike, sounds like a good idea to me.

Damn Jeff, it was a joke. The Z4 has electric power steering. Thought you would have caught on by now...  :embarrassed:   :run:

The black plastic cap is the oil filter, don't take that off.

LMFAO...  wow...  ummm....   8)  The funny thing is that I KNEW that, but didn't put logic behind it.  Thank GOD I get maintenance with the car and it's mostly idiot proof.  LOL...

My only problem with stopping in this car is watching the rear-view to make sure I don't get ass-packed.  Trust me, it STOPS...  Without fade or compromise.  Dry/Wet/whatever, it just stops... Amazing.

Nice, my dad is looking into getting the  35i or w/e, did you do the Euro delivery program?

I'm going to opt for the Audi S5 when time comes =D

Nope, I did the PDC delivery in SC. Due to work requirements I had to stay in the country.

I was only the 2nd person to take delivery of a Z4 there, so they didn't have any yet for the driving day.  So we spent the day in an M3.  I had not considered an M3 before as a car I would like.  It's now at the top of the short-list for when I need/want another car.  Thing was absolutely incredible.

Yes & no...  I mean, they're totally 2 different beasts.

The M3 is obviously not a roadster, so that's why I didn't get it in the first place.  And I didn't like the look of the convertible M3.  However, for a 'coupe', the M3 2 door with the carbon fiber top is awesome.  The main difference is in the motor.  The M3 has a V8 pushing  414hp with more torque than the Z4.  That's really it.  Just more snot when you mash the pedal.
