i had the same problem. it is the washer between the bar end and the clip-on inside the throttle. i bought some bar end sliders that just happen to be for a f4i ( they will fit perfectly ) and now the jingle has gone away with the stock metal bar ends. hope you find it useful.

I have it too.  Definitely coming from the throttle-side bar ... come to a full stop, and tap the bar-end ... I hear a little jingle every time! :p

yea mine does it too....when your riding slide your hand over alittle onto the bar end and it will stop...if it dosnt, the gingle is in your head .....the problem with replacement bar ends is that if they are not heavy or a dense material, you will get a lot more vibration. ;)

Also is it normal that my front brakes are slightly touching the alluminium ring when i am not breaking ?

Maybe Jeff can answer this one for me, does it make a slight scraping sound?  I noticed it while pushing it while it was turned off, or while u're moving forward, but shut it off or held the clutch in/neutral while still moving forward.

I don't know if scraping is the best descriptive word I could use...but it sounds better than griding.

Does "rubbing" sound better?  Like Jeff said, it's normal, as long as the wheel is still moving freely.

yeah, i guess rubbing describes what i think it's doing...

but it sounds like scraping...but not a high pitched scrape...

I know exactly what you mean.  Again, don't worry about it unless the wheel won't spin freely.  It's just the brake pads in contact with the rotors.  They have to be that close, otherwise your brakes would feel all mushy.

Nope, because that would mean the brakes are gripping, which would make the wheel not spin freely.
