Awesome pics for the win.   :thumb: Curiously enough we (central coast CA) had a brief lightning storm this last week too.  As much as I don't like rain, I really enjoy lightning storms and thunder, and this one was one of the cooler looking ones I've seen around here.  Didn't have my camera at the time though, what a bummer. 

+1 for the pics and for not getting struck by lightning.   :P

I always wanted to do a trip.  I rode to wisconsin a couple years ago to the race track.  that was a long and horrible ride.  super hot and loads of traffic.  nothing like sitting in the 95+ degree extra humid heat in traffic for 20-30 mins not really moving.  it was around 150 miles or so.

let me know plenty in advance.  i'm sure it would be better when it's a little cooler.
