Torque Values
« on: July 26, 2007, 03:40:16 PM »
These are the torque values in FT-LBS. This is not all of them, but the ones that I thought were most important. If there are ones you need but not listed let me know I and I will look them up and add them. These came from a 03-04 shop manual, however the 05-06 are pretty much the same as the 03-04 so you can use these for your 05-06 bike also. I have not looked over an 07, but pretty sure these numbers will be a good starting point if not the exact numbers you need. I doubt the torque has changed on the 07.

Standard Torque Values

5mm hex bolt and nut  3.6
6mm hex bolt and nut  7
8mm hex bolt and nut  16
10mm hex bolt and nut  25

+1  :thumb: Hey, thanks.  I seem to have misplaced my owners manual and instead of searching all over on-line for an accurate set of numbers I remembered seeing this on here.  You are a life saver
