I have ridden 107 quite a bit, I like it but it is a bit bumpy.  What town are you from?

I am from Wausau / Tomahawk area, is it anywhere near that?

I didn't know you were up there... My wife is from Tomahawk so I'm up there 5 - 6 times a year.

Oh that's just cold...   :fu:   :P

She's 29, maiden name is Kruger.  Her two sisters still live in the area (Becky Tyler and Terri Whiting) and younger bother Matt lives in Wausau now.

What is funny is that I am 29! 8)  I do recognize the name but I can't picture her.  I only went to school there when I was younger, then I moved down to Merrill.  I think she must have graduated with my cousin though.  Ask her if she knows any Petta's?  My cousin's name is Pete, and of course mine is John.  I skied on the Kwahamot Water Ski Team for a while as well 94-96, so I know a lot of people up there from doing that.  Small world!

I was a Sgt in the Air Force and my Dad is in the WI National Guards both Civil Service during the week and regular Guard on the weekends.  He was selected and working as Command Sgt Major for the 724th, but pulled back to his previous rank (it was not given to him yet) for several reasons (some his, some the Guards).  Maybe that is where you heard the name?

Yep, Small world.  She doesn't remember you, but she does remember a Pete in her class ( I don't think she though very much of him the way she said it...  :P).
I'll have to look you up next time I'm up there, maybe get a beer or something (anywhere but the pine cone...  8) ).

What unit was he in before he was "Selected"?  Was he Field Artillery?

Quite a few of my friends up there didn't think much of Pete either, we weren't very close during high school.  He turned out OK though.  One of my budies owns Pics Pub so I go there when I am around, plus my Grandma's is on the oposite corner so there isn't far to stumble!
