+1  ??? At least A(1) mirror?
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

Flat black...very interesting...you could go join the Rat crew they showed on that show Super Bikes...did you know your bikes don't have any mirrors...

But seriously, you should think about powder coating your swing arm and hardware flat black to match!

LOL I knew I was gonna catch some shit for not having mirrors.

I threw my mirrors away with rubbish on accident (Honestly).  But it doesn't really matter because I'm finishing up some signals that are going where the mirror blocks are at.   I have a monitor and camera I'm rigging up for rear view as a winter project.

I haven't been riding much cause of FT work and classes.  But, yeah I do need to get a matching bolt kit.  I'm just gonna CF the covers and swing arm.

Hey Jeff,

You smokin' Bill Hitchock and his duck on the track?  My bro just told me Bill's been helping Brad Neff out and converting Brads' 916 to street legal.  Sucks that me and my bro have been too busy to actually catch a race around here.  I'll prolly try to catch at least one or two next season.

Is that Satin black?

I painted my track bike Hot rod flat black... and it didnt hold up to good.  It was a stage 1 paint but if you touch the bodywork it would leave marks in the paint.

Going back to the Red/blk this winter with a clear coat for easy cleaning.

Does the Air Force know what you have in your shop?  8)

Actually, the paints holding up really well.  And I've had little drops of gas spill on it and a damp rag wiped it off fine.  Don't have any chips from rocks or anything yet either.

Looks stealthy.

Nice job,
What kind of paint did you use?
Did you do all the work yourself?
How many coats of paint?
Who is the manufacturer, and color.
Thanks

OMG I'm being bombarded with questions!!!

Thanks for the comment.

1) I actually got the paint idea from R6Message.net & Hot Rod forum.  The paint is John Deere Blitz Black.

2) Yes,  I did all the work myself.  Took four weekends to finish and maybe a weekday here and there (I'm lazy).  There were some scratches on the left mid-cowl so I had to fill that up.  And I smoothed out the blinker bumps.   Sanding and prep work was boring (I think anyone will tell you that) but everything afterwards was a breeze.

3) I put a couple coats of build primer on and wet sanded it down and put two coats of paint down.

4) I used JD Blitz Black in a rattle can.  It's made by a company called Valspar.

Hey Fret,

I'm surprised you didn't notice I copied your hack mod on the levers HAHAHAHA.

Looks good, but I agree with Fret, swingarm needs to powder coated to complete the look! :thumb:
