You'll be hard pressed to find the.  Once you go stainless you're not going back to stock.  Fronts only probably about $55-70 through Galfer or Goodridge.  There are others too.  I highly recommend them although they take awhile to get used to.

I know the durability issue with them, but what takes getting used to?  Do they brake differently than stock or are they more responsive, less responsive?

The main reason that you go stainless is for the improved braking response. Stainless lines don't expand as much as the stock rubber ones. So when you brake it takes less effort to stop. So basically if you grab the brake as normal the brakes with stainless lines will likely lock up. EVERYONE I know with them has said to be EXTREMELY careful when you first get them. I'm gonna switch the lines and possibly get the Brembo master cylinder, if it's not that expensive.

So when some poor sap does an endo at the light OBVIOUSLY not on purpose it would be safe to say he just installed the new brake lines?.... ::)LOL
