05 Two C-2 Bros CF Exhaust with custom tip
« on: November 21, 2005, 01:21:18 PM »
This is my first post to this forum.  Iíve been lurking for the past few months and finally decided to join.

I recently purchased a Two Bros CF pipe with a custom tip.  After several conversations with mark@twobros.com, I pulled the trigger last week.

I finished the install on Friday night.  The whole job would have taken about 60 minutes but I wanted to make sure all the screws were tagged and replaced to their original location so it ended up taking 2 hours but well worth the time.  I took a 15 minute test ride to check the fittings.  The bike sounds INCREDIBLE!   Here are a few pics.

Looks sweet as hell (odd expression). I like the tribal as well, although I'm sure some rude prick will make a negative comment about it. If you get a chance record the sound and put a link up here. Beauty of a bike.

I like what they did with the outlet, it makes it a bit more discrete.

Thanks guys for all the feedback - I got the C-2 straight from two bros for their listed price.  I dealt with Mark in Sales.  The undertail is a simple Ride-Engineering Bracket hooked up to the OEM stock exhaust plastic.  A lot of guys prefer doing away with the plastics but I keep it on because it does not attract as much attention.  The lights are K&S mini Stalk Halogens that work in conjunction with my integrated tail light.  You can see them blinking 1/2 away.  I will have a sound clip soon.

All i can tell you is that it has a DEEP throaty growl at low speeds and SCREAMS like MotoGP at higher speeds. I donít think my neighbors like it too much  but my kids do  .

I think it looks pimp.  I was they made a 2Bros dual like they do on the Kawi 636's..that would look siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.  I've noticed Kawi has some good hook-ups when it comes to slip ons.  Even Akrapovic made a slip on that fills out great and looks close to the stock Kawi can but they have their normal oval for our bikes.  Too bad you kept that grey heat plastic shield--- takes away from the beauty of the pipe but it looks tight regardless!

And for anyone who's curious, tribal will always be the fastest.
