Is it?  I thought his first name was Robert.  But I also remember him saying that he has like 9 first names...  Maurice can very well be one of them. :P

Looks like plastic and a clip-on to me.  Well that and a collarbone.

Looks like plastic and a clip-on to me.  Well that and a collarbone.

from looking it over real briefly, there seems to be more than that.

- the bike landed on its top and ground down on the triple clamp and forks, so now i can't adjust preload or compression.
- subframe is twisted.
- the rear rim has a huge dent in it and the tire is flat.
- left swingarm slider torn off including the lug it was in.
- rear shock won't compress.
- left footpeg and shift pedal torn off.
- brake pedal twisted.
- mangled tank - the scrape went all the way through and may have punctured it.
- both clipons bent.
- both bar ends gone.
- turn signal/horn/highbeam assy crushed. wires torn off from sub harness.
- brake master cylinder crushed.
- ignition/throttle assy crushed.
- fairing stay broken.
- crg levers "look" okay but brakes don't work.
- front wheel/rotors/calipers look okay, but forks won't compress.
- haven't taken the plastics off to see the internal damage, so there may be more.

the swingarm, rear shock (why won't it compress??) and forks worry me the most. the crappy thing is that my insurance won't cover it because it was on the track being used for a charitable event. sucky.

The shock is probably due to the swingarm being twisted, its a relatively tight fit in there. Not so bad... I've seen and done much worse... Ebay will be your friend...

And the bodywork looked way worse when I wrecked it  8)

and lastly just rub some dirt on it, it will be fine  ;D

He rides a Repsol replica, just like honiton.  He was at MotoGP too; rode two-up with Randy Mamola around the course a couple of laps...
