where are you quoting this from?

You forgot to color in a few areas. The whole bike vibrates, you sure thats not what you are feeling?  It is normal to feel vibration.

But if it is excessive on the right side then your right side pistons are out of ballance, pull them and cut the skirts off.

i have vibration on both sides... it cant be normal .. its unrideable at 5-7k orm...  all what i have circled has a high frequency vibration at this orm

Seeing this thread has made my day!!!  I have the 5K buzz on my 06.. Didn't know it was such a well known little problem!

Hi,

I got an 06 too and get this noise.

Before i used foam I took all the tank cover and front fairing off and went for a ride.

I still get the sound around 5k in 2nd - riding me nuts.

Any other suggestions?

mine started when i used 15w50 and stopped when i changed back to 10w50.
    07 RR doing   who needs diesel? 8)

OK I read the first 5-6 and just jumped up here to let you guys know of the best way to fix this problem - GET A LOUD ASS EXHAUST!!!   :thumb:
