Hi
Im new to the forum
Im 20 and from the uk
Im looking to get a brand new 600cc sports bike in the next few months.
Ive been looking at the new ninja,R6,GSXR etc but I have been looking more closley at the new CBR600rr.
It looks amazing!!!!
I liked it when it first came out in 03 but even more so now with the USD forks slimmer seat etc.
I just want to know what all you lot have to say about it, why you think its the best in its class
Cheers
Tom

I've been racing them since 03, and I've got an 05 now. They're mechanically the best in class, and personally I find them to be an incredibly stable bike. You might find a faster bike, but without stability, it doesn't matter...

Welcome to the forum! ;D
The '05 rr is a great bike, but it came in second in the 600 shoot out because it's a very stable bike, the Ninja ZX 6r won the overall shoot out, we had a recent discussion about this in the General Discussion sestion.
What bikes have you owned before this?

at the moment ive got an aprilia RS125 (on the road) my previous bikes have been mainly offroad crossers KX125,RM250 etc
Ive had my aprilia for about 2 years it has given me confidence and and being such a light bike its a great bike to learn how to ride properly on.
Also it has given me more mechanicle knoledge as to how bikes work,as its a little 2t you can take them apart and play with htem quite a bit.
For a little 125 its amazing it will do a true 100mph but im a bit bored of it now so im looking to move on.
Im still going to keep it though for the track so i can understand the concept of track racing then when im getting on alright and feel comfortable on the track i will do the same move up in ccs

It sounds like you have the perfect mentality and experience to move to the next level. With your background I would definitely recommend the 600RR. You will not be disappointed! :thumb:
