Is anybody selling yellow fairings or knows a web site that sells it. Tx
-
check ebay, there are always fairings for sale there.
-
Yes I know about ebay but sometimes I'm a bit sceptic about the auctions they sound funny thats why I end up not buying. I was wondering if there is like a web site/ bodyshop for bikes cuz my local Honda Dealer wants $395 :( for the bottom gray fairing.
-
I am familiar with a bike fairing shop in CA, but not in GA. :'(
-
You can try 262-547-3088 which is the sponsor of the site and also check www.ronayers.com. 8)
-
Cool... Tx
Has anybody ordered from ronayers.com and how are they?.
-
Hey Jeff, I just ordered some parts from LCPS. Nice people Tx 8)

Hey, cbrfan, where in CA do you know of a fairing shop? Do they paint fairings to your desire?

Yea, I will get you the number but, have you considered vinyl over paint, its much more flexible in the sense if you decide you want to change your scheme from Pink flames to Orange Polka dots you won't have to have your fairings completely repainted, you just strip off the old vinyl and apply new...just a thought.

I'm guessing its already painted yellow right?
The reason I'm asking is b/c I'm bidding on a Upper Cowl on e-bay, and when I called that shop or whatever they are they said that retail price on the upper cowl is around $600 brand new. I'm like wtf :(.

I'm really waiting to see what they are willing to sell it for.

On the Ronayers.com website how can I tell the different color codes/order number apart or what color belongs to what order number.

On the microfiche page there is a listing of called "color code" use this to cross reference the part and color you are looking for. If this in itself is not self explanatory(I have never used it) try calling the dealer and getting the part number from them. Good luck
-
Yea I think I know what you are talking about, but some of that stuff is not accurate. I did send in an email and from what I understand its best if you send them the color code of the bike/cowl and they will email you back with the correct part #.
I also read your email and I found out that the reserve price is $250 there is only some hours left till the end of the auction so I hope that nobody else bids 8)
-
Cool, good luck with the bid.
-
Well the bidding has ended I got the cowl for $270, I talked to them and they said it was a brand new piece but that they could not use it for warranty work since it came with that small crack (1/4 inch) at bottom of fairing. What do yall think good price?
-
If you are happy with the price, I am happy :)
That actually is a whole lot of savings if you consider retail!
