actually very common practice in some places, especially on bigger tires.

That's how I used to change the tires on my huffy...until the accident :P

yep...I was using a hole, in the end of my seal club, to hold the match for igniting the starter fluid.  When the thing popped my club flew back and crowned me a good one...haven't been the same since.   :spank: 
Now that I know how the seals feel...I've become a much gentler clubber.  I use one of those oversized plastic bats.  It takes about a good 100-120 whacks to slow the seals down.  Actually, they usually just get pissed off and slip away through holes in the ice.   :P :P :P :P :P
