California Superbike School Vid
« on: April 08, 2005, 11:11:01 PM »
I know you guys read my review of Keith Code's School, and how much I learned.  For those not familiar with the school or who Keith Code is or about, here's a short vid.

I'm actually going to the UK version of California Superbike School tomorrow and gonna be there for two full days. Not sure of what I'll learn, but hopefully something! Kinda fast already and don't know what they would find I need to improve. Cocky? sure am haha. Jk though. I hope I'll learn something, I want to improve and become even better. Mostly I'm looking for learning to handle the 600cc R6 as I will get my 05 CBR600RR on the day I come home from the UK. Got my first race on May 1st already and need all the time I can get on the track!

Swedie.

"kinda fast" only means that you're proficient at riding through your mistakes at a high rate of speed...  you'll learn a lot.  everyone who goes through the school does...

Jeff, yeah. Back from the school. I learned quite a bit. The instructors had a hard time caching up to me (at the end of the day when I was allowed to go faster). Everyone there (or most of them) came up to me and complimented me on my riding that it was very smooth and very fast. Also the coaches (instructors) i had said so. Gonna be great applying what I learned on my own race bike(s) and race tracks here in sweden.

That's fantastic swedie!  Glad you learned a bit.  It's always fun to apply it and go even faster.

yes swedie was a very good student, he listened to all my instructions, and will  be much faster now.

Thanks ;)  :spank:

I have a track day on Tuesday with my 04 R1. Surely it is different to the 600cc R6 but I've decided to do this upcoming track day in CSS style... find the turning points, use my vision to find the exits and apply power as soon as possible to get most drive forward and of course, stability. Not necassarily at high speeds, but be sure I find the correct turning points to optimize corner speed and exit speed.  Which is something I found I had improved after my visit to CSS.
