For the same coverage? Or do I need more or less? Or should I switch to State Farm since I get lots of discounts.

So since I get the family and good grades discount, it'll be even less? But for the same coverage as any other company or better?

You want better coverage, try AAA. I'm dropping StateFarm after my current term expires.

Not avail in all states,
but the rates are great. I have had them for over 20 years, full covearge on my rr is $600 per year,
liability only on my 1990 CB-1 is $80 per year,

Its worth a look, if they cover your state.

Unfortunately, they don't do coverage in Texas. But from StrictlyCycles  I've bee quoted $286/ year for 30/60/25. Much better than the $115/month with progressive.

That is dirt cheap! But the thing is I forgot if it included other kinds of coverage, like uninsured motorist and accessory protection....

Thats Cheap... I have never understood how Ins, companies come up with rates,
I think each state has regulations on how insurance premiums are calculated..

I'm new to this site and saw this question out there. I live in Ohio, so insurance rates may be cheaper because of the winter months (with a sunny day clause, for those unforseen nice winter days), but with Cincinnati Insurance Co,  I was able to get full coverage, 100,000/300,000 liability, uninsured motorists, and $500 deductible for only $250 year. I am 31 years old with a clean driving record. Not sure if you can get that company way out in Texas though. If you can't afford to fix it or replace it, then better get collision coverage. A lot of idiots out there. Never know, your bike could get hit in a parking lot.
