Just did my anual Mobil 1 oil change and installed 2-new tires. Ready for spring?

I change my oil about every season and a half. Just did an oil change end of season last year so I'm good for at least another season. I do need to clean and lube the chain though... With all the work that is going into the bike this spring, it'll be easy to get it done.

No worries, just ride up one night with the fluid. Didn't I do a good job bleeding your rear brake when you did the reservoir delete?

You do realize oil not only breaks down due to mileage, but time as well. The detergents loose their effectiveness and condensation puts water into the oil thusly breaking it down further. I wouldn't run oil any longer than 6 months MAX, despite miles, and not run more than 4k on a synthetic, and less on conventional oils. That's a good recipe for burning up rings and bearings.

My owners manual says oil change every 12,500Km, I do that roughly in a season. So once a year according to Honda. ???

At least once per year or at the Honda recommended mileage interval, if you use a good product! And it won't damage your engine.

What are all these stats and numbers?  ???

I change my FULL Synthetic Oil and Filter every 3,000 miles and that's roughly 6-7 times a year.

Sounds like fun. I miss oil changes; smoother shifts, quieter idle, excuse to be in the garage for a couple hours. Good times.  ;D
