I know it's sacrilidge here but 2012 Duc 1199

Proposed 2012 Ducati 1199. Looks stunning in my opinion. Screams track bike in the box with ohlins on it. Don't know if ohlins are standard or optional as nothing as been released yet. Probably will be an option to keep the MSRP under $20k.

Looks nice, though i'm not a fan of the subframe. Too short.

Not sacrilidge when I'm around...

Not a bad photoshop... but here's the real thing.

Will most likely be available in 2 or 3 levels... the first year + "specials" (Tri-colore, rassi, etc...) + race models (RS)
Base model (or just the 1199, if that's what they call it)
"S" model (or 1199S) - same as the base model, but with Ohlins suspension & maybe some Carbon fiber bits
"R" model (or 1199R, durning the 2nd model year -2013) - same as the the "S" but with upgraded engine, more carbon fiber, better brakes, etc...

A lot of styling that I've always been looking for, and I love the snub sub-frame. I've been asking for something cut off for years, love that look.
Looks like I'll have to sell my soul next year.

I hope it comes to production looking like it does in that first picture. They may have really nailed something IMHO, but we'll see what final release looks like.

Here's the real deal...
Might be a tri-colore or similar special edition,  but looking at the fenders and other tid bits (not carbon), it may just be the "S" model (Ohlins fork & shock) with the tri-colore style graphics.

Welp, there is the sexiest bike I have ever seen. I'm never going to ride it, because I'll never be able to afford it. And it most definitely rides so well it makes my CBR look like donkey poop.
