Ok so I have started my search for a new CBR. So far I feel like I am getting jerked around.. Anyone have any insight on what is a good deal?

Here is what I got...

10499    base
280.80   destination/prep.
55    document fee
839.70   tax
3.5 ca tire fee

11871   total
800    rebate

11071  cost to you

I added up the numbers and the guy is off by $193. I really don't like the games hes playing with me..but I figured I use the information he gave me as a base line for my purchase.

Loren, I just don't trust purchasing a used bike. As much as some people take care of it, I'm not savvy enough with bikes to feel confident about buying a used bike. Its a bit different with a used car vs. a used bike. I'm not surround by a cage.. if that makes sense..

So far lowest I got was $10399. No freight/assembly. Plus tax, registration, doc fee, and ca tire fee.

What do you guys think?

Totally agree with you, dude. I was the same with my first 2 bikes for pretty similar reasons. I wish you the best of luck with finding something that meets both your needs and budget!  :D

thats still a little over 11 after taxes and licensing, if they wont go any lower maybe try for a new 2010?????? i know they got them around

I think I've narrowed it down to who I will be working with..I didn't disclose the fact that I work in the business and can see clearly through the games they are trying to play..
