- Rossi is taking most of his crew to Ducati, opening the door for... Spies to take House and most of his crew to Yamaha & Stoner to take his crew to Honda.

+1.  "Luckily" I got lazy for some reason and after losing my high speed interweb connection at home I stopped following this season of both Moto racing and Formula 1.  I plan to get all the races from this year and slowly watch both seasons til the new ones start, lol!

hey guys, i've been following the news from wherever i can. AMG (mercedes) have recently announced a Ducati partnership. i think suzuki running a one man team will see them fade away as a team(i hope i'm wrong). Edwards staying with Tech3 IS the sensible option, could any of the other Yamaha riders develope that bike ? Suter (moto2) were supposed to have been testing a gp bike at Valencia with Redding on board. i'm tottally gutted that De Puniet will no longer have playboy bunnies around. but he has managed some encouraging times on the Ducati already. next season will be a belter no doubt. still not as interesting as moto2  8) now who's up for a small wager ??? a tenner says Rossi puts the Duke on the podium first time out :) and Stoner wins championship :)

I can see Rossi on the podium 1st time out... but the AMG thing scares me a little.
But Stoner taking the championship, I'd take that bet - I can't see it happening.

nah... even Honda's robots fail eventually.  it's looking to me like Petro-bot, and probably more so Puig are starting to fall out of favor with honda.

good call jason748,
i think De Puniet will have a strong season. Pedrosa will be strong too, he's been on the gp grid long enough without the chsp.  i'm certain that yamaha will start strong but development of the bike will be slower than the others, Edwards i guess has to be the #1 development rider now ? i'll bet Rossi and Hayden aren't too bothered that AMG is going to be a sponsor lol. Stoner was the quickest at the Valencia test on a new bike. my prediction would be
1. Stoner
2. Lorenzo
3. Spies
4. Rossi
5. Dovizioso/Simoncelli
6. Hayden/ Pedrosa
7. De Puniet

I'm just ready for 2012 whenever they go back to 1000's. This will suit Hayden, Spies, and Crutchlow a lot better than some of the others.
