Our little 'adventure' in photos. The roadtrip was awesome, even with our couple of hiccups, including a lost key to a certain BMW

Europe is absolutely beautiful.
My buddy Joe and I rented a Suzuki DL650 Vstrom and a BMW R1200GS for the trip.

Took a bunch of backroads and mountain passes through Germany, Austria, and Italy.

Relaxed a few times.

Rode up a mountain or two.

Finally made it to Mugello and set up our humble abode right next to the racing surface.

Watched a bit of practice on Saturday.

Mugello was a party! There's a saying there that goes "In Mugello there is no sleep." It's absolutely true. Those crazy Italians partied allllll night.

Took in a few races on Sunday! Here is the start of Moto2.

The Italian GP.

After we finally got back to München, we relaxed for a day or two and then went to Eagles' Nest near Salzburg, which was Hitler's summer home in the Alps.

Apparently Hitler hated the place because he was afraid of heights.

After staring off at some breathtaking scenery, we enjoyed a brewskies at Hitler's house!

It's been a great trip so far. I'll be back in about a week and then off to a trackday at Jennings on the 20th!
