body work
« on: March 18, 2010, 11:16:56 PM »
I am looking for some new race bodywork for the '08.  Preferably used in good condition, ie. basically new with a paint job.  Otherwise I am going to get some Sharkskinz and get a paint job.

One question did anyone ever install these fasteners and what kind of tools would I need. I've used these type of fasteners before that were on some Erion bodywork I bought.  They are pretty nice.

Looks like you just need a pop rivet "gun" and a small drill bit.

Yep, I've installed them  before.  Just need a drill bit the right size a like NN said a pop rivet gun.  Any hardware or home improvement store will have the gun.

Nice!  I think I'm going to be using these too when I get around to buying track bodywork...someday.  Haha.  Dave Moss is a badass!

Honestly - After using a buch of different style Dzus, That style is probably my least favorite.  I actaully perfer the "Pantex" style of Duzs over the true Duzs style, with either the rivit on or slip-on full back plates (as opposed to the wire):
