haha not at all. We met in university, we are both from Nova Scotia (eastern Canada). We dated for three years before she decided to go to school in LA for fashion. Big change but I'm glad she did, racing in California is good fun. But yeah on the rigs we work two weeks on and a week or two off. So on my time off I fly to LA from Edmonton AB.
I work for Akita Drilling. Trinidad, from what I hear, is a good company to work for. I've been thinking about jumping ship and working motors for them in Mexico if that's a possibility. Sometimes you have to have a certain amount of time with the company to leave the country for work, but I don't think that applies in Mexico. I don't think you even need a work visa.
Rigs are good times, I am working derrickhand this week woot!
