A local Daytona Beach motorcycle forum that I'm on decided to put together a race team for the CCS/ASRA Michelin Team Challenge at Daytona International Speedway on February 27th. They've asked me to be their crew chief for the team, which I think is pretty darn cool (I've worked for several CCS racers and an AMA MotoGT squad). We've been working on the bike and team logistics for the past month, and made it official this morning in Roadracing World:

Thought you guys would like to see it. Our sponsorship came from companies within or close to the DSB community, and it was pretty cool to see it come together like this. We're hoping to get to some additional events on the schedule this season.

Hell, even I'm going to try and make it up there for this one, it's the least Jon can do.

When's the Germany deal though and you'll need to bring the RS with you as well if you've picked it up by then.

Germany is May 6-June-ish (might stay a week later)

RS is still up in the air, buyer backed out on my race bike, still searching for its next home.

I love riding in the rain. It levels the playing field for everyone. It gives the guy's that aren't normally in the top three a chance to podium or win.
