I'm gauging interest in a group ride/photo shoot.  There's a few of us RR riders in the Metro Detroit area, but I was thinking about extending the invite to whoever.  I'm a professional photographer (action shooter with a Canon XT 8mp slr).

I was thinking...group meet, ride out to a "cool" location for shots, hang out...whatever from there.  Maybe even do a $5 donation (depending on the amount of people) to a local charity.  Then, whatever shots I get, everyone would be welcome to (they'll have a small unobtrusive sig on them) any of them.

You can see examples of some of my shots on my myspace page if you're curious.   

Who's in and where ya from?  Any suggestions?

Weellllll..... I was gonna give you a [smite] for stealing my idea and then give you a [applaud] for telling the truth, but the [applaud] would negate the [smite] and leave you with a + instead of a -.

hey if your still interested in this i've got some ideas as to where we could go.  it'd be a haul for you and fret if he decides to roll out too but a few miles north of my apartment there is a little town called lakeville.  it's got a nice elevated dock access that looks out over onto the lake and the roads out there are pretty nice too.

Its a great idea but I live way too far, Philadelphia, PA, plus I saw on an episode of Superbikes when the R6 guys did a photo shoot at the Tail of the Dragon and it was pretty cool to see all the R6s out there. 

I applaud both of you for the kick ass avatars.  Maybe my avatar will get a Repsol Replica in a couple of years when he decides to step up to the stack!

I'm down.  I don't think we're going to get many RR's only though.  I know a few near me, but not many.  This will probably be a call out to sport bikes in the area and include a group ride.  I plan on making a couple DVD's this season (to go on sale at the end of the season) so I'm going to have camera's everywhere
