retard eliminator

Its about that time of year where i can work on my bike without feeling guilty that i'm not riding it.  I was just wondering how you guys feel about retard eliminators.  A friend of mine has one on his bike and he seems to like it.  What are the pros and cons of this?

Rev limiter eliminator? Bad plan for the street or novice rider! The only retard eliminator I have is my 9 dog! Werd!

I am sorry I have nothing positive to add to this thread cause I dont know much about retarding a bike.

But I will clearify what loc said. What he ment is that he has a 9 pound dog.

Retard eliminator, is that like where the seat explodes and ejects the squid when he inserts his key and attempts to crank the bike? Wouldnt an alarm be cheaper?

My guess is that you're talking about a timing advance.  Personally, no they aren't worth it.
