With a long rear fender like that there must be some aerodynamics at work.

Check out those boots, they make me want to put my pink ones on ebay and get some. Oh, the gloves too.

I bet it'll be a lot like formula 1 from this past year..smaller engines, less power, less aero (as compared to years past) and they're still within a few tenths (at some tracks) of the absolute track records.  because they're lighter and less powerful, they corner faster and they can be at full throttle longer.
