THEME PROBLEM - Default & Internet Explorer

Just a note that there is a bug in the code we're on which causes problems using the 'theme selector' (pull-down menu on left) to set your default theme.  If you choose a theme using the theme selector and leave the site, when you come back the theme will be defaulted to the site default.

To work around this, for the immediate future, you can login and select PROFILE (user CP), then Look & Layout Preferences.  From there, change the theme to the few that are loaded there.  This will stick.

If you are using Mozilla, it will function properly...

Same with me Dakota, the only other theme that will work for me is the SMF default theme. And it doesn't stay, once i leave it goes back to Mirage.  No complaints though Jeff, i like the SMF default theme

I've got it set on Mercury (the recommended IE way) and it worked...thanks Jeff!

I like the Mirage theme, but I don't like having to scroll side to side to see the entire page...

So, fighting this battle with the developers of Tiny Portal, they are telling me that the quick selector is designed to be for that particular session only. 

This makes no sense to me, and I'm waiting for further information.  Mozilla 1.7.12 will hold whatever you choose on the quick selector on subsequent visits.

I still have a large problem with themes not showing up in the Profile area...  There's like 8 themes loaded but only a couple are showing up.

Still problems to fix...

jeff, i use mozilla and i changed my theme from mirage to SMF default but now if i want to change back to mirage it will say in my profile that I'm in mirage but the system will keep stay in SMF.  No problems tho.  I know it takes a while to get bugs out from a new program.

I restarted my computer today and when I opened up the forum...mirage was back!!!
