just thought id add to this.  the reason for the temp gain could be the dealer used a lower quality oil.  this could cause more friction.  friction causes heat and faster engine wear.  i wouldnt worry about 7degrees though.

Whatever the reason behind all of this, the original poster should focus less on a few degrees and focus more on his lack of spelling ability.

well, i think after 4 years the bike cooled back from those 7 degrees.
anyway, i think there are more things to consider other than oil "quality" anyway. such as oil weight, riding style, environment temperature, etc. hell, my riding temp varries up to  5degrees within the same day (morning-evening).
