If you rode on one wheel until you ran out of gas like right in front of a gas station. Then you coasted into the gas station on one wheel, then filled your tank back up and ducked out on one wheel. THAT would be cool.

Not a real big fan of wheelies, or stunting for that matter, but to answer your question...about 50 feet or so...an "oh sh*t" wheelie coming out of a corner in first.  I figure, the more rubber on the ground the less likely I am to crash into stuff.

How well does this motor oil when stood up on a wheelie? I don't do wheelies. Just little ones turning on the power. This motor has a deep oil sump so it should be ok. Have any of you seen the oil light flicker on when doing a long one?

I am not a stunter either, I am scared, and not scared to say it. This is all from what I have read so dont take my word for it. But... Suzuki owners will run their oil about a quart high, and Honda's seem to do ok with the normal level, but if you are going to be running really long then even some Honda owners will add a tad to theirs.

I dont remember about the other brands, I think Kawasaki owners over fill too, but Honda's did do the best.

Either way though, when the bike is up like that the oil sump is not the lowest point so you do run the risk.

there is a mod that is done to the oil pick up to extend it into the sump along with runnin a quart over. a buddy said he saw the oil light come on with a  gixxer   ???  which is why I bought a new bike from the dealer with 0 miles

on my 04 gsxr1000 i was doing full 12oclocks for blocks... on my 07cbr600rr a few monos but now im full up in 2nd and shifting i've gone prolly about 100yards before touching back down.. my gearing however is race geared so if you try it in 1st your going straight backwards on your ass.

I have no idea...I get bored if I keep it up to long, and I like to set them down when im not sure of popo being around...most of the time when I lift it up I goof around anyways...lol

i think im doin pretty good for only ride on the road for 3 weeks, ive gone 2 blocks feathering the gas in second gear.
