So how did everyone else make it across that crack without crashing?

Tom, glad ur okay... which track were you on? sorry if i missed the post where you stated which track it was on...

Keith Code's not all that.... you probably already knew most of what they were teaching you... probably better to do a track day where they offer instruction classes... and at a cleaner track...

Heal up fast

Try to learn from your (and others) mistakes, and try no to blame it too much on somebody else.... It's you that went down, all by yourself. There is  ALWAYS a "because" with an accident or slide.  Again, try to learn from it.

But i am really glad that you are OK ! and remember, only the die hard devoted fools get back on their horses  ;D

Wateva!...lol

Heck yeah I blame Keith Code's school for not thoroughly going over the track and not warning us of potential hazards.  "It's just like any other bump--just roll on the throttle and the bike will stabilize"...my @$$!!!

Even after I crashed, one of the instructors told me yeah that pothole is real bad.

Anyhow, I'm over it.

They either went over it, experienced the drop, almost ate it and avoided it throughout all the sessions or avoided the patch all together.  I on the other hand, never felt the drop or bump because I never went over it--just came close to it--until my second to last session.

jeez. glad you're okay, nem. came out of it with nothing but a scratch. but damn, dude, where are your frame sliders?? not to be a dick, but that might've saved you some headaches...

glad you're okay and glad you were able to get back on and ride again. yeah, don't blame the instructors, cuz after doing my first track day, i had a feeling i had to take everything they said with a grain of salt. by the time i had left at noon, two of the instructors had crashed. yeah. the two who just minutes before had told us to take it easy and keep it together... if anything, i'd diss the guy responsible for inspecting the track... but i wouldn't blame anyone.

You're missing the point.

But I'm over so no point on beating this to death.
