im always skeptical of these kinda vids.... first off... you wouldnt burn up a rear like that unless you were doin burn outs or a lot of hard accelerating over a while. i dont see how that could be just from that one race... i bet that was the reason the R1 guy wasnt pushing it harder... maybe this was a legit race but i doubt it.

there is a pretty cool video out there were a guy here in the bay area of cali put a lt1 chevy motor with a vortech supercharger in a 240Z and it shows hium taking off from a stop light and getting it on with an r1 and the car is just smoking the tires through 3rd gear and is pulling on the R1. correction on that one guys it shows him smoking the tires by himself into third gear while driving not while racing the R! but you still get an idea of what kind of power that car has it sounds awesome to.
