a pretty good rule of thumb is that anyone who brags about how fast they are usually sucks shit through a straw. i'm far from fast. way far. but anyone i've passed can usually be found in the pits just before going out bragging about how fast they are. then once everyone sees how shitty they are, it's time for excuses. "i'm usually much faster, but i don't know his track." or "of course you passed me, your bike has a steering damper."
