Presenting: HONITON IN ACTION!!!!
« on: April 27, 2005, 07:41:25 PM »
This was on the Big Track at Willow Springs on 4/26/05.  Thought I'd post these up for you Honi since you rarely post pics of yourself riding.

Comparison:

I know you can go a little faster and hang off a little more, Honi.  Is the ankle bothering still?

This one looks better :thumb:

I'm working on it right now guys.  Just wait.  You'll finally see the master in action.  He did pretty good.  I saw him come in and out of turn 2 or was it 3 pretty smoothly. :thumb:

I'm not seeing all this "track school" he says he's had in his form, but I see a lot of apprehension and fear...

That's cruel Fret.

We all learn at a different rate.  Besides, you gotta remember he had surgery on his ankle.  I remember when I got back on the bike after my surgery, I struggled a lot to gain back my form or even learn new ones--my right leg isn't as flexible like my left.

That's cruel Fret.

He shares the same brutal honesty with us, so we can with him...it's just an observation in his body positioning (or body language) on the bike.

Well, with that said, you can definitely use some more hang off, bro.

Beach and CoronaRR tells me the same thing and tells me I could definitely go a little faster.  Wait till 5/27/05--they haven't seen what I just recently discovered these past few days practicing....hehehehehee 8)

The end of May, Honiton can pay me back for my honesty, by giving me his honest opinion of my pics at Beaver Run...like we say..."it's all good."

It is the same turn.  One's just a closer shot than the other.

Thanks Nemesis, appreciate the help, just too embarrased to post pics of myself, nothing to brag about just out there having fun, still the slowest guy out there, but this pic was not me, I think it was a F4I or 954RR, different helmet and suit and if you see the headlight its different too, my friend got confused as well, he told me he thought that was me but when it got closer then he was able to tell..   I think I did better at T1, I asked my friend if he can take the pic at T1 but there was a crash and we had to go backward and return to the pit bcz the Aprilia was on fire..

Yes,  I still have the FEAR in me from the crash, if I wear the race boot for few hours I start to limp, its hurts thats why after the session ends I have to unzip my right boot, I do not want to crash and re-injury my ankle, I am still trying to work out my fear, if I can make it home in one piece I am happy.. and yes I am still working on my forms atleast my body was not crossed up (you know ass so far off the seat and body is still on the top of the tank), I am still trying and I will continue to improve my riding skills, hopefully next time, my friend can take a pic at T1 and hope I wont be disappointed, because that is the only turn that I feel I lean the most...
